Sounds like a wheelbearing to me..

Andrew,

I was just out driving and while doing 100-120km/h, i pressed the brake slightly while trying to maintain the same speed. The whole car start to shake like crazy after 5-6 seconds. Question is if my discs are so warped that I feel the vibrations from it, I mean when not braking at all.. I just find it a little unplausible

I warped my brakes within a few sessions on the track and i also lost some wheel weights as well.. I drove around a few days hoping it would clear up but it didn't . Any pressure applied to the brakes was an immediate shake to the entire car.

New pads and rotors were needed to fix this.

But did you have vibrations without braking at all?

Just the normal steering vibrations I have had since I purchased the car. like i said I lost wheel weights early on in my track day that may have
caused the brake issue as my steering wheel was shaking like crazy.

You can see below when i come into a turn.

More of a vibration that I can feel in the gas pedal and base of the seat. I got new tires installed a little while ago, and I'm thinking maybe they didn't seat the spacers properly or something... will have to try that first.

If they are hubcentric and not made incorrectly they shouldn't be able to screw that up.

Glad it was finally fixed for you.

I have some pronounced vibration as well but going to do new rear tires, mount/balance, and new alignment just to be sure before I take it in.

Still does it around 125-135km/h but much less. I'm clueless. Having new brakes tomorrow but I don't think that's it.

so, you touch the brakes at that speed and get a pronounced shake? that's failed thrust arm bushings and maybe also REAR control arm bushings. how many miles (or Km's) on this car? anyway, this is easy to check on a lift: use a prybar to see how much deflection there is, look for tears.

Changed brakes and sound gone, but vibration still there.

Which on the picture? Can maybe check that monday.

#9 is the tension strut. this is the one that would cause the symptoms you describe if it fails. we used to call that the thrust-arm on, for example, an E39. it's the inboard bushing that fails and the resulting tear is easy to see with a flashlight. people who owned 540s and M5s got pretty good at changing those bushings. the current parts catalog no longer lists the bushing separately, looks like you have to buy the whole arm. bushing is probably available on the aftermarket, they just press in.
#10 is the wishbone, probably OK but worth checking.
you should probably also have someone check the rear upper control arms for the same issue.

I have similar vibration on the car when travel 100k/hr. Few month later it developed to big vibration when I hit the brake. So I’ve relaxed front rotor and 4 pads. Now I don’t get vibration while hitting the brake but still feel small vibration at 100k. Have you fixed the problem yet?

If the car vibrating on elevator too check transmision->propershaft->differential->output shafts->rear wheels.

I have seen this before problems with the diff, which got replaced + new (CRFP) drive shaft and same issue, turned out that wrong oil was being used for the rear diff. Imho this could lead to vibrations at specific Hz.

Here is some theory:

Thought I would chime in on an old thread. I had a slight vibration at speed about 200km/hr when I slowly lean side to side when the left wheel unloaded I got an instant vibration in the wheel. I changed the wheel bearing but it didn’t solve it. There was a hum so the bearing did need changing and that noise diss appeared. The slight vibe at high speed is there .
I ordered new tension arm bearings. I’m quite confident these are going to solve the vibration it’s a similar feel to what my e46 m3 did when the fcab failed. Will report back after changing.
