Hi, I have got the EC-7 18x11 ET44 with 305/35 MT S/S tires for the drag setup, and I liked the wheels so much, that now considering getting a pair for the front also and running them full time vs stock 666M in 20-inch size. I have a 6MT car, I heard there are clearance issues of 275 tires as opposed to DCT cars? I'm trying to decide between 18x10" ET25 or 18x9.5" ET22 and 265/35 or 275/35 front tires, but afraid about possible rubbing issues on my car with the larger rim/tire size. Do not want to use any spacers. Thank you for help.

Thanks for the post! We aren't aware of any clearance differences between the 6-speed and DCT cars, could you elaborate more on that?

We've got customers running our 18x10" ET25 front wheels on both 6-speed and DCT cars with 275/35-18 tires without issues on stock suspension. Certain coilovers may require spacers depending on the spring configuration and ride height, but aside from that there should not be any issues.

The 18x9.5" ET22 with 265/40-18 tires can also be used, and is a great choice if you want an easy spacer-free fitment with coilovers.

Thanks for your reply! I've read about clearance issues of a 275 tire somewhere on the forum, can't recall which thread. But perhaps it was on a 20" stock wheel and not the 18-inch. Anyway, i'm still deciding on a 265/35 vs 275/35 tire setup for the front.
By the way, upon checking the tire specifications, 9.5" rim should be good for both? So I can go with 18x9.5" ET22 and 275/35 tires?

That's correct, the 18x9.5" ET22 can work with either 265 or 275 tires on the F8x.

Thank you! And one more question, the new finish EC-7 bronze wheels will not be available in 18x11" ET44 size? I would wait and get a set of those instead for front and rear, if you plan to have them.

At the moment, we don't have a set ETA for an 18x11" ET44 in the special finishes, but we may add that option to more sizes in the future based on demand.

Thanks!

Quick question: Is it normal to receive EC-7 wheels with wheel weights already on them from the factory?

The color, the wheels, the interior and exterior modifications – IND Distribution in conjunction with RKP Composites and the car owner (evanevery) knocked this F82 M4 build out of the park.

Wheel Setup:
– APEX 19×10″ ET25 ARC-8 Wheels in Satin Black
– 5mm front spacer for strut clearance
– 265/35/19 Hoosier R7 Tires

Anyone have pics to share of 19" Hyper Silver ARCs on an F80?

My previous winter setup for my Sakhir Orange M3 ZCP was 19x9.5 et22 square anthracite ARCs, but I sold them two years ago and now I'm in need of a new same spec setup for my Tanzanite Blue M3 ZCP, but would like to try a different wheel finish.

Love these wheels! Believe the silver would look fabulous on the Tanz.

We recently completed the first series of on car test fitments on this beautiful Sakhir Orange F80 M3. This is the first time we have seen our new 19” SM-10 wheels physically mounted to a vehicle, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Beyond the new SM-10 wheel design and its impressive features, this photoshoot highlights our new 19x10” ET25 front with 275/30-19 tires and 19x11” ET44 rear wheel with 305/30-19 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The setting is Sonoma Raceway, an environment both the M3 and APEX wheels are quite accustomed to.

We haven't seen this done yet, but we know the 19x10" ET25 is only 6mm more aggressive than our 19x11" ET44 SM-10, which can fit 305 rears no problem. With rolled fenders and rear negative camber, you may indeed be able to fit a 305/35-18 tire back there.
