I had a BM3 stage 1 map in but I pulled it and went back to stock and clicked the option to relock the ECU. If I want to put the stage 1 map back in will I need to go to a tuner to unlock it or is this something I can do from home? Thanks.

I went from stock to stage 1 this week w/ startup roar and generally *very* pleased with the reflash over factory.
It's quite smooth *most* of the time but I get some hard jerking with consistent part-throttle acceleration in sport+ through 2nd gear fairly often. Happens a little bit downshifting from 4th -> 3rd too. I've read about this on DCT cars but i'm a 6MT, so i'm a little confused. If I lift off and tip back in it usually just goes away. The herky-jerky in downshifting feels weird but it's more an annoyance than anything. I searched around but didn't find much for manual vehicles. |

I think my above question got burried in the new PTF software frenzy so I'll just ask again so I don't have to start another thread:
I had a BM3 stage 1 map in but I pulled it and went back to stock and clicked the option to relock the ECU. If I want to put the stage 1 map back in will I need to go to a tuner to unlock it or is this something I can do from home? Thanks.

Just bought my BM3
So I just got my BM3, and in searching all the ACN91 tunes, I see different versions and release dates.
Which is the one I should go with: most recent version, or most recent release? |

Try the free GTS map too. (Consider a hub fix above GTS)

I'm assuming a Stage 1 ACN91 would be considered above the GTS map? I am planning a hub fix, likely when I go FBO + E85. My car is just a daily driver, so I'm hopeful that'll mitigate any risks when driving. |

Top! In reference to the Multimap (Stage 1) - > Map1: ACN91 octane > Map2: 91 octane > Map3: 93 octane > Map4: CS stock power map How does the 91 compare to the CS Stock power map and how does that actually compare to the separate Stage CS+ map?

The 4th CS map is probably the same as the single OTS map. CS is a linear map without the surge, like the Stock map but a little more (5%?) power but more even application. GTS is slightly more power than CS but the same linear application, so GTS is a favorite of mine.

Just watch your hub above GTS power. You do the research and pick your risk/fix ratio. I did the hub fix+CBC so I can play without the worry.

Does anyone get great burbles on stock exhaust non-comp? I dont have any, unless I'm parked and I rev it, or if im slowly driving downhill, in those two cases only I hear loud, distinct burbles, the rest of the time, nothing at all.
Agression set at 5 for both modes, 2.5 seconds for both modes, min rpm all the way down and max all the way up, nothing. Is the only way to get burbles to get a DP? They're perfectly loud when they do happen now, but the problem is that they don't happen most of the time. |
