i did a pull the other day and my car started sounding like a subaru. the exhaust note completley changed. also there is a knock sound coming from the muffler. any ideas? Ps the knock sound isn't coming from the engine bay or the front of the car |

You be careful man...that could be a rod bearing. I don't know for sure, and I hope I'm wrong.

If it starts to sound like a Subaru it’s misfiring most likely. You wanna get that checked out.

Do a compression and leak down test then drop the pan and check guts. I'm usually the type to say everythings fine but yeah that's never good news. No noise by bay?? odd.
