RS41's on the way 265/295 vs 275/305?

I have some BC Forged RS 41's on order and I am torn on which tire size/setup I should run. The wheel specs are as follows:

F82
19x9.5 et 20
19x11 et 40

There are a couple of guys that are running 275/30/19 and 305/30/19 with this exact setup. While I love the look of meaty tires, will I be giving up anything in the way of performance with this setup? Also, should I go with 35 up front as opposed to 30? Thanks in advance!

I ran 275/30 and 295/30 on my rs41. Worked well.

Those are my exact same offsets and I'm running the 275/30 and 305/30. Perfect fitment. No rubbing and I am lowered.

Both setup above are perfect. No MDM intervention.

Thanks! That's exactly what I am leaning towards, how is the ride compared to stock when it comes to acceleration/steering input etc...?

Its a little bit rougher on 30 series. Front also pulls with the grooves in the road a bit more.

Thanks DMK

Would running a 35 up front and 30 in back reduce performance in any way? Thanks!

IMO you want the Outside Diameter and Revs/Mile of your tire to be as close to stock as possible. You also probably don't want the rear tire to be shorter than the front. (Even tho I think .1 may be ok on bottom combo)

Stock -
Front - 255/35/19, 26" OD, 775.3 r/mile
Rear - 275/35/19, 26.6" OD, 759.2 r/mile

265/35 & 295/30
Front - 26.3" OD, 767.1 r/mile
Rear - 26" OD, 777 r/mile

275/30 & 295/30
Front - 25.5" OD, 791.4 r/mile
Rear - 26" OD, 777 r/mile

265/35 & 305/30
Front - 26.3" OD, 767.1 r/mile
Rear - 26.2" OD, 770 r/mile

I personally have the 275/30 and 295/30 combo but may consider 265/35 305/30 next time so I can run RE11s. My new wheels im running these tires on are 19x9.5 +20 and 19x11.5 +45.

I am running the RE-11 265/35/19 and 305/30/19 combo on my car right now with a set of VMR 810's. I have a set of RS41's inbound and I am planning to run the same tire setup for those wheels.

the front wheels on the VMR setup are 10" and the 265's have a slight stretch look to them when compared to the rear 305's mounted on an 11" wheel. The RS41's use a 9.5" front wheel and that will help the 265's stand more straight-up like the rears.

What I like about the 265/35 combo is that they are taller than the 275/30 and close up the fender gap more. I am running a set of Euro Eibach springs so the drop is not very aggressive. The 265's help with the fender gap and the ride is still very compliant.

Overall very happy and will continue to use the 265/35 and 305/30 combo.

Chris.

Thanks for your input fellas. I went with 275/30 and 305/30. I'll be sure to whore car out photographically once the wheels get here. LOL.
