Winter Tire Set Up 18s vs 19s

Curious on thoughts and pictures for the 18 vs 19 inch winter tire set.

I'm sure there is a thread out there on this topic already, but I couldn't find it through the search...

Sure
Dunlop WinterSport 3D. I am super happy with them.
513M Staggered Wheel Setup and 255 40 18 Square Tire Setup. The rear has a tiny stretch but its not noticeable.
I also run 12mm spacers. Mud flaps helps a lot too

255/40R18 square setup Michelin PA4. Just put them on a couple weeks ago. Happy with them so far in dry weather. Have yet to experience them in snow etc. This is my first season with the car.

18X8 sqaure setup on 245/45-18's

Last season I ran a set of Michelin Alpins, I liked them in the dry, not so much in wet and snow. They were pretty old though. I liked the fact that they had a two ply sidewall.

This season I'm running a set of Pirelli Sotozero 3's. They have a single ply sidewall so are very squishy. I'm running them at 40psi to make up for the squishiness and so far I love them in the dry and wet. The plus side of the single ply sidewall is a plush comfortable ride. They run large (wider and taller than the Alpins) Haven't had snow yet so still waiting to see how that goes!

Very happy with my 255/35 19 square Michelin pilot alpine 4's. No problems whatsoever in the snow. I've driven in about 2-3 inches last year without getting stuck or losing traction... unless I wanted to. Hope this helps. Sorry about the low quality photos.
