Doubtful, would take a lot of rewriting of the code I would assume.

I get the feeling a lot of people posting about lack of updates etc have no idea of the time spent on development and testing. If they went away and came back in 6 months they'd no doubt be able to purchase your tablet and upload a file they wanted very quickly with minimum of fuss and the info already probably on this forum to help with the issues they may encounter, if any.
Any new system requires perfecting and redeveloping as with all things. Like a Beta test.

I'll hopefully be ordering the tablet in next week or so. Delivery to UK may take a little longer but thats ok, theres no rush.

The development and effort we put into to knowing how the ECU actually works is time intense. We've seen/viewed calibration from several other 'market competing' companies and have been somewhat frightened by the tuning operations being implemented -- We've come to the conclusion that the tunes are their best attempt at producing "wow" dyno numbers to sell their product.

Consider this:

Here is an image of the TQ target mapping for our latest OTS revision for the M5:



And the result is a TQ curve that looks like this on the dyno:

As you can see the ECU (our tune), is ACTIVELY targeting this type of output. It isn't just by chance.

--- Our tuning approach is measured, and deliberate.

The following image is our OTS mapping for the F8X TQ targeting (Black line with dots) vs. a competitors TQ targeting (red line):



I'm not certain that the difference between the two is clear, but I hope it is.

Can you guess which of our OTS tune this is?

Havent tried it yet, still waiting to get a pc. my exhaust and midpipe are going in Wednesday so I'm thinking by then I'll have everything ready. Hoping to send file before Wednesday.

I guess I have to patient i assume, thanks. The tablet showed me the ECU type, HW #, SW#, Cal code, vin, then additional info, can this be used? Manager says its never been connected

From my understanding, the OFT will not generate a tune file at this time. You'll need to get it directly from OpenFlash.

I'm up and running, have gone through a few different iterations and it gets better and better with each update. The latest map Anthony did for me is right on the money, power AND soundwise. Very smooth and powerful and the burbles have been toned down to what I think is just right. This is a great tune with so much potential. Thanks Anthony for all your hard work! To anyone thinking about it, it really is a great flash. Tons of power. Havent tried flat torque maps yet but will be later today. I actually love the torque...

I just finished testing the Full torque map, and here is my quick review.

Install was very straightforward, i will be uploading a video with step by step guide and a few tips to make the OFT install process even easier.

i was pleasantly surprised by the GTS start up roar, i liked it so much that i asked Anthony to send me a map with a more aggressive ROAR

Torque on this map is insane, as soon as you punch it, it pushes you to the back of your seat.

i did 10 pulls, very impressed with how consistent power delivery is

Car will be on the dyno in 2 weeks, i will post a comparison of full torque map vs flat torque vs stock + the video i mentioned earlier

Last but not least, Anthony's care and customer support is second to none
