Dragstrip second time, 11.26ET

Best I could do my first time out with the car a month or so ago was a 12.010. A few folks said watch the DA, when it goes negative run to the track and I did The low DA and the fully prepped track made a huge difference. With better tires who knows, it could have been very close to 11 flat.

Stock M3, non ZHP. Tune from Alex, (and not his highest). All else bone stock, tires and all.

My original goal was to get in the 11's, I am there.

Very nice. Good 60' for stock tires too. What were your shift points?

Nice run!

Are you able to adjust rpms when using launch control? If so, what rpm you launch at and what's your shifting points? What tire pressure?

Thanks

I can adjust the RPM's. I left it at 3500, (going lower last time car went slower). Tire pressure at 31, (Last time I tried down to 25 and I lost time). It is the default shifting of the DCT launch control, (I think a bit shy of redline?).

wow. that's amazing.

How were you able to get the stock PSS tires to hook using the default launch control rpm?

it was a smoke show in my '15 DCT F80, even with bone stock tune

The track was prepped very well and this time against all recommendations I did a very healthy burnout. It hooked really good for me.

From a standstill just mash the throttle with DSC fully off and no brake, then once tires have broken loose, gently add brake to keep from moving forward

I have the same stage 2 tune from Alex@Alpine. At my local track, best I could do is 14.9. I just couldn't hookup no matter what I tried. I can feel the power once it hooks, but unfortunately that's about halfway down the track lol. I just gave up and came back home with my tail in between my legs. Got embarrassed by a couple of mustangs.
