The reason I ask is because the M4 CS (Spain) did not get the GTS hood and did not have the water injection. This one got the GTS hood and so it could be that it has the GTS engine.
The spanish M4 CS was an project only from BMW Spain not from the M-GmbH, the shown new M3 CS is an regular project from the M-GmbH and would most probably come with an more hp-engine ... rumors going from 475PS to 500PS.
Since the S55 is allready at its hp-limits, its clear that the 500PS couldn´t be reached without water-injection ... the question is whats about the 475PS.
The Spanish CS was basically a regular CP M4 with M Performance parts and special colour. No water injected engine. The new CS will be a toned down version of the GTS with the water injected engine but without the big rear wing and big front splitter...

I don´t think that the M4 CS will be limited.

Likely no roll cage. The point of th CS is to make it more track focused while keeping it a practical daily driver by making it less extreme than the GTS (keeping the rear seats).

Power output rumors have varied between 450, 460, 475 and 500ps, all depending if the CS gets water injection or not.

I dont think we can conclude that from the hood alone. They may have elected to use the GTS hood solely for improved cooling and/or weight reduction.

we'll find out soon but for me it would not make sense to have the GTS hood without its engine...

I don't see it having oled
Probabaly just the lci tails
I doubt it will have water injection either

Based on what the Cs package has it'll probabaly be close to the 100k range
If it has water injection then even more

It all depends what engine and suspension it has.

I also very much hope it does not come with CCB as standard

Those wheels from SEMA kind of look like a spin on the FiRs don't they? In any case I'm excited to see this come together. SMB (if that's what it is) will look damn good on the coupe.

You're right CCBs would drive up the price. Sans CCBs, what would you say the power would have to be to justify a $90 - 95k price level. Probably safe to say they're not going to price this anything near the $80k range (reserved for M2 CS lol).

Car looks great, the right performance and visual adds from the GTS but in a more appealing / usable overall package. Love the blue color, rear deck spoiler, hood and new wheels. This is a winner, would love to see a M3CRT or M3CS version as well.

Is it too much to ask for Alcantara seats or at least cloth seats??

My guess by the angles and such is that it was photographed from a distance discreetly and then the pics were zoomed in.
My guess is BMW being the marketing geniuses that they are strategically leaked these pics to wet our appetite. Therefore pics were designed to be low resolution. Bravo BMW, I'm loving the slow striptease and more importantly the car looks awesome.

Not sure I follow you here .

The only "visual adds" on the GTS are the orange accents. All the other bits are functional.

The only item that is "visually similar" to the GTS is the hood. Wheels, splitter, rear deck spoiler are all different. There will be no mistaking a CS from a GTS.
