Charging dead battery, how do I deactivate alarm siren?

I've had my M4 in storage for some time, and battery has run down (Shame on me for not trickle charging I know).

Car alarm was armed before battery went flat. I hooked up a CTek LifeP04 (in engine bay) and had to press the reset on the charger. After a few seconds the charge initiates and the car alarm goes off. Charger error light turns on.

Is there any way to turn off the alarm in this state? My fobs don't do anything.

Tried finding info on this without luck. Any guidance is appreciated.

Try removing the battery from the car and charge it up on a bench. Once fully charged put it back into the car.

Or you could try boosting it with another car. You just need enough power to deactivate the alarm.

The ctek is not providing enough power to do it.

Awesome thanks. That makes sense. I'll give this a try.
