Pure Stage 2+ High WGDC (what to look for??)
Im running pure stage 2+ recently changed charge pipes and j pipe to try and fix a possible boost leak. Still seems to be an issue as you can see my WGDC is 99%..
Anything else I should be looking for besides these two things I have replaced, I have double checked them as well to make sure they are installed correctly. https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5f33...0b436224474864 https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5f33...0b436224474863 https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5f33...729b1d3e67430d |

sorry can't help on the WGDC but i doubt you have a boost leak. you're still achieving your boost targets.
but i'd like to comment that your car ignition curves are looking remarkably neat what fuel are you running on these logs? and meth nozzle location? |

Why do I feel there have been so many threads with people running Pure 2+ thinking they have a boost leak?

Because, that is what really high WG duty cycle means.

It's a very small leak coming out of either the manifold OR where turbo meets charge pipes (can upgrade to thicker o ring and use locking washers on it). That's IF your WG was set up and calibrated correctly

Smoke test is best and you would have to take the one off and go to your local ace hardware/etc. and find one. This is what I did for pcv valve and many other things lol.

Having the same issues, running 99% wgdc on e85 w/100% meth in the j-pipe. Its hitting 28 psi but only making 560 whp. Getting a smoke boost leak test done tomorrow. I'm thinking its coming from the charge pipe to turbo connects.

Check it out guys. Sometimes when chasing boost leaks we have to use what we have at hand. But, if it's a pin size hole leak. A regular smoke test never gonna find it. You need to take it someplace and rig up something to pressurize the system ideally at the boost you are running into issues and you will spot your leak.
I remember when my stock intercooler was leaking the dealer mind you, tried to pressure test it and found nothing. But, it was still leaking. It's not until a took it to another dealer and spoke the shop foreman he knew what I was talking about immediately. Did some other type of pressure test and found the leak. Have you considered something like this?

I see you created a thread on your issue as well, did you do a boost leak test?

Is it right that we can't pressure test the S55 including the turbos because the wastegates don't seal shut?
I see in videos guys with single turbo + BOV where they just remove the cone filter and pressurize the inlet. I don't see that working with wastegated turbos. In my next build phase I'll be over 30PSI and would like to check for leaks beforehand. How best to isolate subsystems and pressure test?

Pressure tested the system, zero leaks found. But after doing another log on a different tank of E85 the WGDC dropped significantly, its now around 82-85, waiting for a response from cary.
