valvetronic motor s55

my gf bought a m4 and i drove it yesterday and it felt very slow so i use the mhd adapter to check for codes and saw this code “133e10” not sure if it’s actually the valvetronic motor or what i would love some feedback if someone had similar experience

Does the car make rapid clicking noises when you unlock the car?

The clicking you hear the 55 series engine make before startup is the valvetronic motor cycling and doing the math for motor position based on that reference. If that test fails you get the code. If anytime during running the motor can't get find the reference values set at startup, you get a fault.

My .02...

Clear it, do the ISTA adaptation cycle and if it happens again you're doing a Valvetronic motor at minimum.

Tell us how this turns out.

If the dealer will do it for ree, awesome. I know my iCarsoft and autel scanning tools have the ability to do it as well.
