Stoptech versus the others

I have the opportunity to pick up a set of Stoptech BBK for $2700 for the front and rear with pads but everything I read is always Brembo should I go with it? I'm setting up a track car with some street driving so I need something that's going to work.
I had a meeting with Boris Said and feedback was tires, brakes and suspension. I have the rims and tires but I'm unsure about the brakes and I'm going with JRZ next month.

Any bbk of good name will work perfectly fine for track days. I run stoptech myself but brembo, ap, Sparta will all do the job well if designed for the application.

Also, that's a good deal if the kit is in good shape. Check the seals, hardware, etc for completeness and condition before buying.

stoptech's are awesome. I have a track only 370z and the stoptech trophy brakes (which are slightly lighter and anodized instead of painted), and they perform flawlessly.

You will have no issues with them. You will also have more pad selections at lower prices. Replacement rotor rings are also one of the least expensive in the industry.

ST is a good choice, especially at that price.

You'll have lots of pad choices. You can run the ST60 pad or the AP19 Pad if you want a WA pad vs. the NA pad. Most track pads for BBK's are 18.5mm thick, but you can run up to 21mm thick pads for ST on F8X.

Upkeep cost is lower than most as well.

Stoptech is fantastic. I've run three of their BBKs on my various cars in the past, and never had a single issue.

If I recall, brakes are no longer covered under standard maintenance. For those of you who have an aftermarket BBK, have you ran into issues of servicing your vehicle or getting non-brake warranty issues resolved?

Why would any non-brake warranty issues be an issue with a BBK installed?

About the only thing that could come into question would be the master cylinder and I doubt they would question that.

Here's the StopTech I picked up and I've been extremely impressed. I make up a lot of time at the track under braking and they have done their job.

I'd like to add that they have the best customer service (it's a long story) but even after I screwed up and mismatched some rotors and pads (100% my fault) they had me drive to their shop and replaced everything at no charge!!! True they may not have the prestige of some of the big names but at the end of the day when I dive into turn 3 at Autoclub coming down from 138mph they stop!
