Jesus may love you, but he doesn’t Eventuri Filters.
This is what a turbo looks like with Eventuri Filter. Suggest you change your search, fwiw. |

If this was a For Sale Ad, I could not have even posted what I did. I’m only trying to help OP out so he can see how good the Eventuri System works. Last edited by IK6SPEED; 07-29-2018 at 10:36 PM.. |

So just to clarify... your turbo pictured above is not of F8x turbo with Eventuri?

Also seen damage on a F87 M2 turbo with Eventuri filter. This issue were the filters. Eventuri quietly revised them not that long ago. IND shipped out replacements to original owners purchased through them. Others obviously did not. Of course that did nothing for the turbo damage that happened in previous years to the revision. yeah. I read the sound is better too (louder swoosh) with newer filter. So I may have to swap mine out since they are due for cleaning anyway. It's only $80 per piece... so $160 for both on IND. Trying to see if I can get a better discount elsewhere.

New filters won’t do crap for damaged turbos.
And though you cannot find any other reports, how many Eventuri BMW Owners do you know that have taken off turbos and inspected them? Last edited by IK6SPEED; 07-30-2018 at 05:45 PM.. |

They released a redesigned filter (without being honest as to why) about 5 months ago. Do you trust them enough to buy one now? Especially a used one that might have been sand blasted? Better you than me. At least a few Dealers had the ethics to send out replacements filters to their Original Buyer (without telling them exactly why they should replace). Wonder how many thought, “I’ll just keep the spare until I need it.” smh. End of Story. https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...42&postcount=1 No. In an NorthEast Metropolitan City.
