I'm pretty sure hot climate pertains to models by country.

I bet everyone in the US has a hot climate vehicle. Bmw isn't going to pick and choose states they're going to establish it by market

Some research of past threads indicate it might simply mean a higher power A/C unit

Actually not true

I've seen cars with Hot Climate, Cold Climate only, and very few with both.

Suspect it's according to Dealer's order.

But that's a different thread.

When is the g20 M3 coming out? Will there be inventory to make it through the next year? Also when is F30 ending production? The M340i isn't coming out till later can you still get a 340i until then or you have to wait so only 330 will be available initially?

Curiously, I just check a bmw inventory from Seattle, Chicago, and Maine and found that all of the vins I ran were both hot and cold climate so having both doesn't seem rare at all.

Did not see any cold climate only on any new cars

I suspect this is the case too. For all we know, it just comes with different fluids.

FWIW, when I was looking for my M6, they were all Hot Climate versions here in the US.
