Active Autowerke Single Mid Pipe

Hi all, I installed the Active Autowerke Single Non-Resonated mid pipe on my car with stock down pipes and ZCP Muffler today. From the research I’ve seen. This is the go to setup and simplicity. I did it in under 2 hours with a lift.

Car sound great when you get on it but other than that it sounds stock at idle and under 3k 3rpm which is what I wanted. So if you are on the fence about doing the single mid pipe and keeping everything stock. This is the move!

Here is a video:

I’ve been running this set up for about a year and I love it as well. Will be upgrading the muffler soon, but the sound is great.

I’ve had my AA single mid + AA 3-can axle back exhaust setup since 2016. Exhaust sounds great for a s55. I haven’t once thought about switching to a different setup.

I’m not there yet. If I need MORE, I’ll get that 3-can exhaust setup!

The single midpipe is the best exhaust upgrade that can be done on this car

I’ve addressed this before. When the single midpipe was released, I thought it was the best option and made a thread about it. Then, when the equal length midpipe came out, I felt it offered everything the single lacked regarding aggressiveness, so I made another thread saying it was now my favorite.

then, I changed my mind again and now prefer the single midpipe. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older, but I prefer a cleaner exhaust note over just raw aggressiveness. My priority now is a drone free setup with zero rasp.

Sounds great. I wonder how less aggressive it would be paired with a regular non-zcp muffler.

Nice! However, I have their original 3-can rear muffler which is a more friendly neighborhood setup
