Sorry about that. You are correct. I was not thing of the covering but rather the seat architecture and design.
no worries, u r correct about the design and style. I just wanted to point out that we F83 owners r a little more special :

I had an E93 for 3 years. It was clearly heavier and more sluggish than the E92.
Although fun to drive with the top down. Just depends on what you want/enjoy with your car.

They get the vents to blow warm air on your neck when it’s cold out.

Old post, but were you saying this from experience or speculating?

Old thread but since we're on subject, I felt this way too when I got my F80 m3 for the first time, coming from non-M's my whole life. I remember on my m235i and tuning it for the first time on BM3 stage 1 and I was absolutely blown away at how much faster it felt. Total night and day difference. Fast forward to my F30 340i and even more so with the B58.

After tuning my S55 to stage 2, I felt no noticeable difference if I'm being honest. But by design I believe it's mostly on the top end. Also my first time using MHD and coming from BM3 on previous cars maye thats why. (I've heard BM3 just throws insane boost and torque at you in the low-mid range and MHD is more linear but not sure if true.) Although I do know it is much faster than my previous cars 100% no doubt. The power delivery and acceleration is interesting on these engines and cars. Does anyone else feel the same way/know why that is?

I came from a 3 litre Mercedes V6 turbo diesel tuned to 700NM torque. Always pushed me back in my seat, but the number on the speedometer didnt necessarily climb that fast.

Now in my stock F83, there is a lot less feeling of being pushed back in my seat, but if I look down on speedometer, the speed is surprising. Weird feeling.
