About to order my new M4 Competition - colour choice?

Some of you may have seen me on Bimmerpost before, posting mainly in the 2 Series forum with a few popular retrofit guides, but times have changed!

It's been nearly 2 years since I parted with my beloved BMW M235i, and I find myself just days away from ordering a brand new BMW M4 Competition Pack!

Spec wise, I'll be loading it up pretty well (Icon Adaptive LEDs, Harman Kardon etc.), and I've got some incredible pricing lined up - 16.1% off RRP, £1,500 deposit contribution and 0% APR!

The only thing I'm still a little torn over at the moment is the colour choice/combo. Originally I was looking down the Mineral White + Black Extended leather route, but I've ended up leaning towards the San Marino Blue + Silverstone Extended leather combo.

If anyone has any pictures of the above, especially the San Marino Blue + Silverstone Extended leather combo, I'd really love to see those - would really help me nail this decision down! Feel free to suggest alternatives as well!

Looking forward to once again being a BMW owner, and being a part of the forums again!

I was just notified that going for individual color is now delayed to Jan/feb. was considering SMB as well. Not sure if that changes things for you or if your dealer is giving you different info on when you can get an allocation for an individual build.

I have the orange with silverstone silver. Turns heads like nothing I’ve had before. The leather needs cleaning regularly. BTW I got 7 k off list when I bought it 10 months ago, put 10 k in and it is now in -4K than settlement figure.

SMB in UK is a standard color.

I should hopefully pick up my SMB M4 cp with full silverstone leather interior at the tail end of this week... Will try and post pics once I get it..... there's definitely a few pics out there... Instagram sanmarino and you should find a few owners pics too!

Loved the cloth seats on my f80 but if I got another I would go for the SS interior.

I personally would still stick with your original choice of mineral white. I think it will really make the CF roof stand out.

Wish that were the case here, too. I saw an M5 in this color and it was absolutely STUNNING! If you don’t mind being seen, go for the SMB. If you want to go incognito and blend in with the crowd, white is a good choice.

I've got a Mineral Grey ZCP M4 and I sometimes wish I had a lighter colour, as things like the carbon roof and other bits and pieces would stand out more without such a dark colour.

A mate has a Silverstone ZCP M3 with SO leather. On paper it sounds odd but looks sensational in real life. The SO interior can really go with anything, it's such a great colour.

Either will be a great combo, but if you can swing it, I would look into the full leather option as it really makes the cabin look much nicer.

SMB with Silverstone. No doubt about it. That is a much more special combination.

Wait, so BMW still doing individual colors (just delayed)? My dealer told me that was it for individual colors since the plant where the M3 is made is being renovated? Is this not the case then?
