charge pipe tab broken
i broke the charge pipe tab taking it off. any issues with gluing it back on? does it even matter? TIA

I broke mine off when doing my downpipes before I upgraded my chargepipes. I ran it for a while with no problems

Mine just broke doing plugs it was glued before. I wouldn’t worry about it just make sure all connections are snug.

Hey, was doing spark plugs and did almost the same thing except the tab that is attached to the valve cover broke off. Does anyone know if that tab goes directly into the valve cover and a new cover would be needed? I just want to make sure there wouldn’t be any vacuum issues. It looks as if the tab was hollow

Same thing happened mine and I went with aluminium charge pipes instead. These don't have that tab and are perfect. I think it's moreso a locating thing rather than it doing anything. If you're reinstalling this one just make sure that there's no cracks in the pipe where the tab broke off.
If you want to repair it I would suggest JB Weld plastic epoxy. It would stick fire to water! Also use something to clamp the tab in place and I would nearly guarantee you the repair will be stronger than the rest of the pipe!
