ARMASPEED Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake

Hey everyone,

I have recently installed the ARMASPEED Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake on my 2018 F80. I figured I would share some images and my thoughts about it. I will caveat this thread by adding that I am sponsored by ARMASPEED and received the product at a discount to be transparent.

The intake arrived in Canada from Taiwan super quick and it was packaged great. Each piece was wrapped in a dust cover, bubble wrap and then taped closed. I was super impressed with the quality of shipping materials considering it traveled quite far to make it to me.

Installation was pretty straight forward, though it was our first time swapping a stock intake on an F80 so we made use of some helpful youtube videos to assist guiding our way. ARMASPEED did provide instructions but I found them to be a little confusing at times as it had limited words, mostly just zoomed in pictures without describing what the step consisted of.

The intake sounds, looks and performs great! Upon acceleration you can hear an amplified induction noise from the inside the cabin. Outside you can hear some flutter. The quality of the carbon is excellent, the weave looks awesome. All hardware supplied was good quality. Super happy with this intake and definitely recommend it.
