I did this but it leaves you wanting more turbo noises.i would also add that once you get down pipes and a mid pipe, you won’t hear them as much. I have the SSR intakes and am happy with them.

+1 on the blue Injen short ram intake, been running for over 10k miles with no issues, regardless of weather or temp. Ran the stock airboxes without the charcoal filters at first but wasn't satisfied with the sound difference.

I know front mounts are louder, but these work fine for me.

I did this. First by removing the charcoal filters for a week and then a week later swapping to the BMC drop-ins.

Both did not add any noticeable turbo/intake sound. If you want any "wooshy" turbo sound you have to get aftermarkets. The OEM airboxes, while very efficient, don't provide much turbo sound.
