Apple CarPlay
Hi all I am looking into getting an F80. I was curious and I’m sure this has been asked before (new to the forum) what can be done to add Apple carplay to the 2014-2018 generation? Where is the cutoff and what can be done if it doesn’t have it?

My 2017 F80 M3 already had Apple CarPlay, but not the full screen version. So, I went to Bimmer-Remote Coding and purchased their software and coded my car myself with their assistance.
I'm unsure if the 2014-2015 only needs software coding or new hardwire (MMI). Bimmer Tech is another good resource, provide them with the VIN and they can tell you all the options they can provide you. https://www.bimmer-tech.net/?srsltid...1icl-GAhSZI8NE
