A good day to ask, this is the first full day I've done! I'm working on Robin's room and you probably don't know this, but the best feeling in the world is not seeing your child being born, or watching them sleep, or a fatty burger with extra bacon when you're super hungry. It isn't a cold beer after a day of digging up trenches around your stupid house, or getting a huge raise at work.
I'm telling you, I know a thing that's even better than any of those. It's when you're trying to put wall paper to a stupid wall, all goes to shit and finally, finally you have enough of a voice to scream and shout and cuss and you can even kick the glue bucket! I fucking hate wall paper. I fucking hate this stupid too high room!

Replacing water heater wasn't fun at all.

That's easy, now teach me how to put on wallpaper without losing the tiny bits of sanity I had left.

Yeah but if I had, that would've happened.
You know what's worse than putting up wallpaper? Putting up wp while your beloved husband sings with his stupid dog. I swear to coffee. If my weekend, which he made the songs about, hadn't been such a fuck up, I would've drowned them both to the glue thing.

I'm telling you - a car like the one above should be high on your list. And you could even have two drinks and then go for a drive without worrying about other people on the road.
And think of all the bags of milk that could be transported in the back section. That car has a lot of things going for it! |

Just got an extended look/ride/drive into a 2019 C300 Coupe. A few thoughts!
- The W205 LCI interior wise, is... most definitely way ahead than the 3er or the Audi A4. It's definitely better, there is absolutely no doubt on that. All German car companies use more or less the same material, it's the design and how they are used that are different. - C300 Coupe rear trunk has no button on the trunk itself. The trunk release is only under the rear diffuser or your key aka you have to use your foot or your key to unlock. - Very comfortable, almost at a BMW 5er level of comfort. Interior is pretty muted. It is definitely a comfort first car. - Burmester sound system is way better than the H&K in the 3er and even the B&O in the A4. - Steering wheel on the C300 Coupe is WAY too busy. There are buttons all over the damn place along with a scroll wheel on both sides of the steering wheel which is also annoying af. - Benz's infotainment is good but not as good as the BMW iDrive. It isn't bad by any means but iDrive is more intuitive. Although the C300 does have the digital dash so that is kind of nifty. - Benz's center console is a bit busy for my taste. The large stock in the middle to use for writing and other stuff isn't necessary (in my opinion). Not a big fan of that. - I don't like the stock shifter crap still. I never will, no matter if I get used to it. - Transmission is very... ho-hum? Its... ehhh. Not ZF. I believe it is an Benz in house tranny like the wet-clutch in the C63. Don't quote me I'm too lazy to look it up. Again, I didn't really feel any lag during the normal drive and what not but it also lacked any sort of feel or feedback. Like feedback is almost nonexistent. It is a good daily driver car. Apple Carplay like always completely takes over the infotainment which.. ehh lol. But it is definitely a good daily, I would prefer the LCI C-class over the Audi A4. Maybe this would change when the G20 3er comes and we get a good idea on the car but right now... Benz C-Class > Audi A4. The interior for me is the main reason, aside from the fact that I cannot really get over the Audi looks like a Lexus problem.

Fair enough.
And you are busy. Apart from the do-it-yourself renovation, I heard from a very reputable source that you finns spend all your spare time raking the forest floor (which is why you don't have forest fires like in California) A Canadian economist calculated that this means you each have about 65,000 square meters of forest for which you are responsible. That, my friend, is a LOT of forest to rake. Side question: what do you with all the leaves and brush you rake up?

Second Minnie's comments - the car 'looked' nice, but was just gutless and no fun to drive. At all. I dunno, ours was likely not 'loaded' but assuming it was the usual C300 engine....it it no way appealed to me. Car2Go uses C300s here now as part of their fleet (an improvement, I guess, on the Smart cars - though I prefer the smart cars)

Being in LA is exactly why I need a daily eventually. The amount of idiotic Asian drivers around here (among others) are insane. I'm just learning about the other brands. It's far easier for me to learn hands on than reading. It is also harder to tell between Burmister vs H&K vs B&O between the C-Class, 3er and A4 if I do not have them side by side.

Damn you guys have lots of time to test drive vehicle and negotiate prices.
I really do not have time to look or even purchase a vehicle rightnow. I will probably end up buying one if I had to. BTW, I am extremely unhappy about paying $70 for a water heater permit. A permit for a new water heater?????
