Staggard wheel fitment - apex ML-10RT

Apex released their new wheel design. I’m interested mainly for aesthetics but have been planning to go to a more aggressive track setup. I’m currently on 18x10 et25 square.

They currently only offer a few fitments.
18x10 et25
18x10.5 et22
18x11 et44

Some others too but don’t seem common on F8X setups. But I’m a newbie hence my question.

At a minimum I was thinking of going for the 18x11 for the rear but was wondering how tight the 10.5 et22 would be? Anyone have experience with this setup?

I’ll be on Nitron R1s. Interia lab said they spec a shorter spring for clearance but I haven’t received my kit yet to confirm. I don’t mind running healthy camber but would prefer no spacer.

Per spec tire suggestions with the 10.5 I’d run extreme contact forces 295/30 front and 315/30 rear.

A common track setup is an 18x10.5et35 square with a 15 mm front spacer (effective 10.5er21). Some run 18 or 20 mm spacers to clear dampers/springs. However, it will require ~-3.5 deg of camber to tuck the front 295 tire into the wheel well.

I know but they don’t offer a size near that currently. So I was trying to see the best setup with what they offer at the moment, which seem like not uncommon options but mostly staggard setups.

Trying to have my cake and eat it too.

The 18x10.5et22 will work on the front, worst case you’ll need a 2-5 mm depending on your suspension. I’d run a 285 or 295 on the front.

I’d run the 18x11et44 rear with a 305. 10-20 mm stagger is the largest you should run. I run 285/305, 295/305 and 295/295, and the 305 is sufficient to put the power but it does hurt with rotation. I think a 315 will make the car push more even with a 295 up front unless you alter spring rates and sway bars to make things more neutral.

I run the Apex Arc8's in 18x10.5 et 22 in the front with a 5 mm spacer, and 18x11 et 44 in the rear also with a 5 mm spacer (although it is not needed for inner clearance, I run it just because). I run 295/30 Bridgestone RE71RS's all around and have no issues with rubbing. Running the MCS 2WR with about 3.7 degrees of camber in the front and I think about 2-2.5 in the rear. Can't recall camber exactly at this moment.

I'm jealous. I seriously considered pulling the trigger as well, but just don't have the means to do it right now.

What color did you go with?

NGL I’m pretty stoked. I’ve always loved that style wheel and the colored face / machined lip look. Basically a huge e88 fanboy

I went Motorsports gold. My f80 is mineral white.

Definitely unplanned for me but kinda nice that you only have to pay a deposit and the balance when they ship around Dec.

I’m going to run the 295/30 square to start just like you. -3.5 front and -2.2 rear.

these look great. Wish they were making in a size that would work for my f90.
