Im aiming to run 295 square on the 10.5. Also not to keen on dropping rear to 275. Didnt like how it felt the one time I ran 275 rear on track. I havent had much concern with the 275/295 ECF setup. The rear has been ok the few events ive done. Even with 30 profile (since they dont have 35 for that size)

2019 M2, MSRH Houston Clockwise, finally broke into the 1:45s just barely on 200TW tires.

Looking back at the raw footage of the camera, I hit roughly a 1:19.50 at NJMP Lightning as a beginner on PS4S Tires, US MDM, stock camber and entirely stock brake (Huge mistake, the brake fade and the brake pedal to the floor each turn 1 has certainly frightened me every lap).
Looking to put on a much more appropriate brake pad and fluid setup to reduce the braking zone drastically, get better driving lines, as well as get off of MDM without sending myself into a wall |

New PR at Hallett over the past NASA Texas weekend—fun, but bumpy track. This is not my fastest AiM time, but it was the fastest transponder time so go figure.

Not great times, but we finally got to shake down our M4 GT4 at PIRC (Pitt Race).
The car is stock and was on 295 Toyo RR tires. It was a hot weekend so all times were pretty slow, but including it here because it was a fun chase. Car: F82 M4 GT4 Mods: no additional mods Tires: 295/30-18 Toyo RR square Fastest time of the weekend: 1:54.3

The RR is cheap, and handles heat well. Pace-wise, it is slower than 200TW tires by multiple seconds.
It's the perfect tire to shake a car down! They just released the Toyo R, which seems to be pretty fast, but haven't tried it.

GTS1 is fully converted to the GTMore other than power. I expect GTS1 is faster than the M4 GT4 currently, but not forever! GTS2 was unfortunately sold, we can only have 6 cars in our driveway and had to add a tow vehicle (X5M) and an enclosed trailer, as the M4 GT4 doesn't have door locks. In October, both GTS1 and M4 GT4 will be in the same event, so hopefully some apples to apples feedback. |

Meanwhile, I'm preparing for my first return back to the Glen next week since my accident (Metro PCA). Here's hoping to history not repeating itself ... But with my trusty new 3WR setup and the knowledge of avoiding too late a turn-in off the back straight, should be good! |

Circuit Mont Tremblant
2018 M3, 6sp, MCS 2WNR, Vorschlag plates, Brembo/ZL1 brakes, Pagid pads, BM3 Stage 1, Pirelli scrubs Best lap: 1:54.7 (with traffic) This was my first time at Mont Tremblant, it was very hot (90s), and I ended up in a group that had both Advanced and Intermediates. Organized by BMWCCA Boston Chapter and the Canadian counterpart. There were numerous exercises for passing all over the track, so I learned a lot about where you can find grip, but didn't get too many clear laps. It is very much a rhythm track. 1:52 would have been easily achievable with 1-2 clear sessions, and high 50's with another day. That said, after seeing the videos I notice just how much unnecessary hand movement there is. I need to check myself going forward, this is a bad habit. BTW my car is for sale, if anyone is interested.

sly1types I Love Road America .. Favorite track by far. Impressive time.
What sort of Aero do you have on your M3? Have a 2016 6MT base myself, but no tune or BBK. And just the base aero which is pretty much, not much. Did you intentionally lift a little early going into turn 5? Looked like you lifted and started to lightly brake before the 500 board, but carried some speed and added brake near the bottom of the hill. Great lap once again.
