Connecting SoloDL to CAN bus question
Does anyone have a link of the best way to tap into the CAN bus so that AiM can see the additional parameters which are not visible in OBD2?

I have more pictures somewhere. Basically I removed the radio trim and worked the cable from the passenger side and over the steering column. I usually just leave the solo device plugged in but when it is not plugged in the cable hangs to the side.

Yup, found them. I used these red tap plastic things (circled in image) but I would recommend not doing it the way I did as it splices into the cable. I don't plan on removing it ever so don't care about it. My advice, and if I were to do it again, is to find an adapter or splitter with the pin at the end so it slides into the socket that way it is easily reversible.
The solo cable has 6 wires I believe but you only use 4. 12v - 12v + CAN - CAN + |

I decided to build some Y cable so that the OEM cable stays in tact. The OEM cable female pin just attaches to the male pin on the Y cable. I also decided to route the cable via the glove box. There is already a whole in the glove box for cable routing covered by a plastic square plug. The glove box also can close if the cable is sticking out, making it easy to hide things when not on track.

The cable is stored in the glove box, and that allows for many mounting options.

Is that AiM attached to a ram mount? If so, can you please post a photo of how the AiM is attached to the ram diamond ball base? My flat head allen screws that I have been using don't really sit flat behind the AiM backing plate if that makes any sense. At the moment I don't have a better photo to articulate the problem better.
