Lithium Ion compatible battery charger tender on sale - $34.99

Anyone looking for a battery tender charger compatible with their Lithion Ion battery may want to take a look at Woot who are selling the Noco Genius 3500 for $34.99. I just bought one off eBay for >$50. This is not a current model, which is why they may be trying to clear them out. The Genius 5 seems to be the replacement but is around $60.

I hope some board members can take advantage of this. Cheers!

Thanks for sharing! Great price, but some of the top reviews on Amazon have me a bit scared, especially the one that showed it caught on fire. Does anyone have experience with this product versus the ctek?

You can search by noco. Others have used it. That's why I got mine. I haven't used it yet, but plan I'm doing so first time during the day.

Honestly, the CTEK is the way to go. But it's $100. I personally don't think battery charging is rocket science. I switched power providers for example. Electricity seems fine. Some stuff is just commoditized.

Thanks, the search helped me. At first, the results made me think I should just spend the extra on the ctek charger, but after seeing more people using this with no issues, I realized that I am only going to use this during the shelter in place. I usually don't leave my car sitting so since it will be a short-term tool, I might as well save some money and just monitor it carefully at first to make sure there are no defects. Thanks again for sharing!

2 things wrong with that:

1. It is for motorcycles
2. It is not for Lithium batteries

The BMW one for Lithium is a rebranded CTEK.

Used it for the first time today. To get to lithium mode, you have to hold the mode button for 3 seconds. Then push it once to go from 6V to 12V.

I use noco g7200. The “supply” feature is helpful sometimes (like getting into the frunk of an old 911 with a dead battery so you can get to the battery)

I haven't had a chance to try the Noco charger, but I just happened to notice that Costco has a Duracell 4 amp lithium ion charger for $40 in the warehouse, and also the same price online with free shipping right now due to a $10 off online only promotion.

Got the Duracell charger delivered yesterday. Hooked it up a bit ago. Seems like its doing the needful. Reporting my battery state as somewhere between 50 and 75% .75% bar flashing now.

Bought the NOCO one listed in the original post- Set it to 12v lithium. My car was hooked up to it for 8 days without moving, i love it.

After being on the charger for just a couple hours, already indicated topped-up. Guess it really was not that low. Driven about 80-90 mins in the last ~6 weeks

I ordered the Duracell from Costco (i have Costco dollars to spend) but when I was reading reviews and doing various searches I found that Harbor Freight also has a maintainer on sale for a good price.

You do realize that the F8x comes with lithium battery and you must charge with a lithium compatible charger? The HF one completely omits it, I wouldn't even bother. If it was used for AGM, then I'm all for it.

I have NOCO's and they're great chargers to have.

Oops. Wasn't paying attention to the detail on that charger. Good thing I bought the Duracell from Costco which supports lithium.

All the lights on the Noco just feels like a cheaper product, though I haven't used the Duracell to compare. For 35 bucks, I don't think you can go wrong with the Noco.
