Advice needed for X5 touch screen

Greetings folks, I’m thinking of doing a screen upgrade for my 2018 M3 with the touch screen. I understand that with a little trimming an X5 screen might fit.

I need help selecting the right unit. What are the keywords to search for, or how else can I best identify a unit that will work? Can I go by certain X5 model years?

I would like to keep the touchscreen functionality if possible. And I’m also wondering if a bimmertech Android Auto upgrade might work with the X5 screen.

Any advice you have is welcome, and I thank you in advance.

Just go with an AVIN 10.3 unit. As a first timer it took me like 4 hours to install, no cutting (did it after a 12 hour shift.) It's a great unit and had it for near 2 years. You can add front cameras, rears, use a wireless controller etc. It's perfect.
