Aftermarket Wireless Charging

So I think we can all agree that BMW’s OE solution to wireless charging on the F82 platform in the center console wasn’t great and I found two aftermarket solutions that seem to be way better:

1. INDUKTIV wireless charging system

2. JD Cars Lighting Console

The INDUKTIV one seems better as it maintains more OE components and just replaces the lid of the ashtray it seems. Has anyone used these for the F82 platform? Are they any good? Are there any other alternatives besides these two for wireless charging not in the center console?

I have the JD Cars Lightning Console and can say that is one of my favorite interior mods. The best thing about the design is the fact that the charging pad is recessed just enough that the phone (even without a rubberized case) doesn't slide out of place. Even during "spirited" driving. A couple things to note. The right-hand side cup holder is shallower than the left. Not a problem for me, but something that I didn't realize until after I had the piece in my hand. Also, I don't think it had a place to reinstall the knee rest, but I didn't care to install it anyway. Overall, I completely recommend the JD cars solution.

I have the Inductiv lid replacement, it works great but sometimes its difficult to set it perfect for charging. Overall I love it, no charging cables cluttering up the cabin.

The Rennline phone mount with the Rennline Magsafe style wireless charger is a great option. You just need to run a USB cable through the dash and down to the passenger footwell 12v adapter for power. It's a very clean set up. If you have an Android phone just find a Magsafe style case for it.
