I would suggest V3 over the HAS. Doing just springs take a toll on the OEM shocks since they are not designed to work with shorter springs.

The V3 will provide a much better ride, and allow you to preserve your OEM suspension

@Fschorsch

It depends like always on your budget.

For the BMW M3 we developed the KW HAS, the KW V3, KW V4, KW CS, KW DDC plug&play.

If your M3 is already equipped with adaptive BMW Shocks you should think about the KW DDC plug&play kit. With the DDC you still can switch by push of a button between the different suspension modes.

If you want ride your M3 mainly on race tracks upgrade to KW Clubsport.

Front Street provided us with an cool installation feature in a M3: http://blog-int.kwautomotive.net/bmw...a-closer-look/

If money is not a major issue then the V3s will be so much better.

The KW DDC does not come with camber plates, correct? What's the recommendation there?

DDC Does not come with camber plates, Ground Control or Vorshlag can be added.

We've done a couple set ups with DDC + Vorshlag + KW HLS Kit.

If you want a coil over system that comes with Camber Plates, then your options are going to be - JRZ RS1 or RS2 Sport, KW Clubsport 2 Way, AST 5200. These products are all in the same price bracket, if you want more track focused there are the JRZ RS Pro and Moton 2 or 3 Ways.

I already have GC camber plates so glad they work. I thought Vorshlag never came out with plates for the F8X. Will the V3 also work with GC?

I apologize, I should've referenced that the GC can be made for the suspension.

The GC plates you currently have will most likely not fit because of 2 reasons, the diameter of the springs vary in comparison to the KW.

GC makes a specific fit for the spring perch. The second reason is the nut itself that holds the camber plate to the shock is a different size and tread

You might know this, since the KW SUPPORT GUY I talked to didn't even know and never called me back today... Do do the KW Clubsport's come with a camber plate or not? At first he told me it came with a top plate and you can adjust camber, but when I pointed out that the website said there was an OPTIONAL top plate to allow for "suspension adjustment" (didn't even say camber specifically anywhere on the page), he got confused and was going to call me back....

Yes, they do come with front camber plates.
So what do they mean in the product description when they say "By using the optional adjustable top mounts, suspension geometry can be adjusted to the requirements of the tires and the intended use."?

If we are still talking about the Clubsport system still, then they are explaining the use of the camber plates.

When they say the requirements of the tires and intended use, they are wording it to prevent liability for rubbing

Yes, the Clubsports. Just wondering about their calling them "optional" when you are saying they come with them, that's all

V3 of course ~~~ HAS doesnt do anything other than lowering your ride height. Lowering spring with oem damper combination was the worst ever.
lack of damping stroke, poor rebound feel during high speed which makes the car feel unstable.
