M Breakfast Club North NJ

Hey fellas,

I decided to create a thread here so we can have more M cars to join us. This is a small gathering of car guys in North New Jersey on weekends, very early in the morning to just drive. I've been doing this with a couple of fellas including a Lotus Evora, 997.2, a few McLarens, NSX, S2000, and of course M cars.

We basically meet up in NJ by ~6AM, hit up Harriman State Park, and may be have some light breakfast if time allows before splitting. The whole thing takes about 1.5 ~ 2 hours so that we can all go back to our children, wifes and girlfriends before they even wake up.

Our cars melt in rain and snow so I usually set this up for a dry weekend mornings.

I'll post up here whenever we have the breakfast gathering. Everyone is welcome as long as they have an M car.

One thought, if you've got photographer on board, why not detour north a bit at Matamoras/PJ and bang through hawks nest - should be empty depending how early we make it up there.

Had a good time this morning with you guys, look forward to doing it again—with zero rain this time though! My car might have melted.

Definitely share photos when you can. I also think someone was running video when I took a quick pass up/down Hawks nest alone—if someone has that, can you send it my way?

Hope the remainder of your drive went well and safely. I had steady rain my whole way out to PA.

it was good meeting you. thank you for showing up even in the slight rain. Also very good call on hitting up the Hawk's Nest.
I did not expect rain at all! but it was dry once we were near NJ boarder.

I'm working on the pictures and they will be up shortly. I'll ask around if anyone of us has the video of your car.

IMO it's much better than going to Cars and Coffee and sit around the parking lot. Started out with 2-3 drivers and now we have plenty regulars that show up.

This is an on going thing for the rest of the season. You can subscribe to this and turn on notifications so you can be alerted when I post up a new ride for the weekend.

yes, I'm still on S2ki and still own a S2000.

Since it's Father's Day it will be a short one. Thinkin max 1.5~2hrs if we do plan for a breakfast run. Would that be ok?

what part of NYC are you from? I don't want to make it cheesy if someone is paying all that toll to join us for the morning. gotta make it good for the outer state drivers.
