Isn't it strange when BMW does that? Offer everything in a certain finish except one piece... The M Performance shifter with Silver Trim vs. Gloss Carbon (like every other M performance upgrade) will always be a mystery to me.
Appreciate that, OEM is definitely the way but I don't mind making an exception or two when it's a tasteful and high quality aftermarket part. Agree on not jumping the gun on performance mods, shit i'll be enjoying finally driving for the first time in a few years with a 6MT. The cosmetic mods coming from an F32 make it a bit easier in that I have a strong sense of what the car looks like with/without and I also spent the last 3-4 months drooling over M4 parts, styles, builds, etc. Quote:

Kurt206 Buy or fabricate an equal length mid-pipe / exhaust. If I was to do all my mods all over again I would do that first, and if I was only allowed to have/keep one mod it would be that.
I'm not going to flood this thread with examples as there is already a massive thread on it - feel free to PM me and I'll send you what I would consider the most accurate/representative videos out there.

Front end PPF, Side Skirt PPF, Bigger Rear Quarter Panel PPF.
Window Tint (can't tell if your car is already tinted). Oil cooler guard. Full screen apple car play. Custom coding for better QoL. I feel the car is already great in stock form for the most part.

I was close to doing a full body PPF but decided against it. Full hood and fenders are PPFed as well as rear quarter panel. The skirts and front lip will also be PPF’ed.
Tint is incoming just way backed up schedule with my shop. I used BimmerCode to do a bunch of the comfort updates as well and Marius did mention the full screen which I want to look into. I’m loving the car and thrilled with how it performs stock it’s such a beast…. |

You can't go wrong with that color choice. IR/IR.
I have this baby in my garage next to the M4 and the M Roadster.

With the MPHAS installed the final piece i'm going to be adding is the side skirt extensions which have been delayed for months...
Going to hold off on the exhaust, tune, etc. for a while. The only thing I would pull the trigger on if it came up would be an EL midpipe as i've heard RugbyBro M4 in person now and it sounds amazing with the midpipe. A photodump from recently with a few pics of the new E30 project...

Awesome, the look will be complete with those. For the exhaust, have you tried unplugging your valves while they are open? That held me over for a while until I got a midpipe.
