I assume you're referring to Spool and I've not seen any besides the fitment was bad. I just had the Dorch kit installed with no issues, albeit it's OEM housing.

Thanks. I figured the spool was sub par. The way they handled their N54 hpfp issues (my former platform) was abysmal haha

Part of the fuel injector if I recall correctly.

Its basically a shock absorber for the injector to allow it to move in the bore.

Any update on the Spool kit, or is Dorch just the way to go for HPFP?

Dorch all the way. Spool released some garbage overdrive HPFP when I had a N54 back in the day. Never again.

No, but stock injectors COULD fail at any point since you are running them past the "safety point" on full E85.

I've been on E85 on stock injectors for about 15k miles and no issues, but your mileage may vary.

Okay, I noticed EU5 are 595$ on FCP euro, those are the correct ones right?

I noticed Dorsch has them listed for $699 so making sure i have the correct ones.

I almost bought a dorch kit but decided to run the Nostrum Stage 2 bundle on my F80, no issues so far!

They just updated the Pump kit not too long ago so it has a higher operating pressure of 240 bar vs the old kit only being at 180 bar! That kit with their stage 2 injectors my car has never felt better!

I believe Partsscore just installed the same kit in their signal green M4

The best way is to change the pumps, Dorch kit is like shitting but inside.

Lpfp useless...
I reach 800 hp with Ron 100
Now trying slowly to increase e85 percent
I ll keep you posted.

Most important!! E85 purchased on the road is bullshit and clog injectors. I purchased magigas pure race e85

Hello mates, a tiny update:
Running now HCP ecu for Ron 100, RON100 plus sometimes ethanol content vary from 20 up to 25% without any issue. Pure RACE MAGIGAS ETHANOL E85.
Car is in the signature. NO LPFP, USELESS. Purchase for nothing.
Now, with this config I got a strange result.... 932 Nm at 4000 rpm then suddenly drop at 5000 leaving the power not overcoming 700hp which sound strange.
I was expecting less torque and higher hp.
Ok my mistake I locked 7000 rpm which are now unlocked with XHP Flashtool but the turbo pressure suddenly drops at 5000 for unknown reason...
any idea?

My understanding is that the max effort with upgraded turbos and stock fuel system (no meth) is 650-670whp, albeit on E50. Please correct me if any of this is incorrect, I'm just going by what I've seen shared online and advertised on popular F8X tuner website.

Now I'm sure lot of us got excited about the idea of a upgraded DI system for a more cleaner OEM+ application with less potential issues/leaks and the fact of not having to deal with old tech controllers. Unfortunately Spool came out with a HPFP product without sharing much data if any and no mention of injectors.

That said, I know several people with upgraded turbos who are not particularly interested in running supplemental fueling (meth or PI) and are really curious on the potential gains/max HP from the following potential setups I will list below.

Please note, this is in regards to what I'd call most common upgraded turbo setup, just looking to run full E85 and make generally accepted "safe" amount of power (700-750whp) without the need to build the motor. Again no meth or PI, just DI.

1. EU5 injectors only
2. LPFP with EU5 injectors
3. HPFP with EU5 injectors
4. HPFP/LPFP and EU5 injectors
5. Another potential combo you advise?
Hello mates.
I m really curious now....
I got 940 Nm and 700 hp with no LPFP and nO E85

Kratos turbo and Halim file HCP.

I purchased the high precision works stage 4.5 and I ll see...

Just wanted to share as we've been waiting for a HPFP release for years.

Edit: Recent developments indicate injectors will be needed as well for a well rounded & long-term/reliable fueling package. The injectors are the BMW M5's EU5 injectors, specifically.

I HIGHLY recommend staying away from spool performance. When these pumps fail they will give you the runaround. After the runaround comes the ignoring of messages and calls when they approve you to ship back the pumps for “testing”

Disclaimer: This is a fairly old thread w/ old vendor info.

That said, ahhh that sucks a lot, sry man. Most people use Dorch’s HPFP lift kit or Nostrum’s HPFPs.

I've also been speaking to a representative from Kratos and was informed that their Engineering Department has been working with Dorch Engineering in the testing of these units, as well as testing a Bosch injector upgrade that will be compatible with the stock fueling system.

I don't know about y'all, but those are two announcements that I'm now anxiously awaiting to be released.
My car has been done by me and halim. Dorch bosh, kratos. 942nm
