2018 BMS M4 ZCP, all run with California 91 pump gas
base line is file 1, 437hp its a stock M4.... file3 mod BM3 OTS stage 2 with charge pipe, J pipe, CSF front intercooler, eventuri intake, akrapovic catless downpipe and evo full exhaust not too much change from stock, stronger pull but i mean not too much lol... file41 mod with snow performance meth single nozzle #5 on J pipe, with 50/50 boost juice much stronger pulling on higher rpm, low end is the same file57 mod with pure turbo stage 2+, psi 27-28 car is now much much faster, over 80mph pulling fast to 120mph very bad lag below 3k rpm file73 mod with kratos turbo, psi 27-28 fast? I meant i can't tell. it feel the same as PS2+. I meant if you measure it it is faster but somehow you can't tell too much of different on "fast" one thing i do notice the lag was shift to 2k rpm. although dyno graph does not support but i am the driver. i know the feel is different. somehow the turbo kick in on 2k because it makes daily drive harder.... so does Kratos worth more 2k than pure ps2+ (kratos 8k - pure 4k - core 2k) will if you doesn't keep your core then ps2+ is a better deal. we will see how is the new single turbo when it really come out thanks to tom @ eas Sales@KRATOS , yeah i paid a lot to two of you lol. but Tom helps me a lot and Abid helps on turbo thank you and wish everyone stay safe and healthy |

Thanks for sharing! 631 whp is quite impressive on ACN91! Having had PS2s, KRAS55bi, and now GC+, I can see why the Kratos units are priced the way they are. The lag you're referring to with the PS2+ also applies to the PS2. I can imagine the KRAS55bi (never installed mine) offering a much improved driving experience, however.
Congrats, and enjoy your new turbos! |

They all are wayyy more expensive compared to VTT and they aint giving much more power the GC did ~630whp on pump if i recall correctly !! The kratos might be better for build engine and 30psi + :dunno:

Do you guys know if it’s possible to get a solid 500whp on ACN91 with these turbos while not stressing out the motor too much? Meaning if I had the stock turbos and I wanted a solid 500whp, Id probably be in an E85 blend tune with all the supporting mods like meth, but instead of getting all of that, I have a pretty much stock engine with just the turbos but detuned to 500whp on ACN91?

Or just go with bigger turbo but without meth it will give you about ~530-550hp. |

You might be able to get around 500whp with stock turbos, FBO, and a custom 91 or 93 tune... 93 can be had with some octane booster. Would check in with carythelabelguy to see what’s possible. |

I've been debating on going with upgraded turbos as well but I really love the way the stock twins spool, they spool so fast the car feels "almost" naturally aspirated so I would hate to give that up...
Didn't Pure Turbos use to have a set of turbos for the S55 that spooled almost as quickly as stock at one point? |

I’m trying to find a route that is less strain and stress on the engine and turbos without using more variables like meth and e85. Currently my only engine mod are silicone charge pipes. I Was thinking if I just got bigger turbos (pure or kratos) and got a custom tune, I could get around 500whp on ACN91 without really stressing the bigger turbos as well as my engine? These bigger turbos are making high 500s to mid 600s on ACN91 so 500whp wouldn’t be stressing them out, right? Thoughts or am I just misinformed? Haha |

Why not increase the octane? With all that money invested, I'd be looking to do anything to minimize knock and allow my tuner to really advance the timing.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but when I lived in the Valley (Woodland Hills) which was off the 101 back in 2017, the local pumps carried 93 octane. Should be cheaper now but I recalled paying ~$3.99 per gallon at that time.

Yes, I asked them that question myself. They stopped making them because they literally only sold a few. Everyone wanted the "Hi Flow" or then the PS2+. Since they make them from cores, I am sure they could make a set of Fast Spool if you asked them. Great guys. Would be worth a call
