are welcome lights and seat badge lights only available on some models?

I have a 2018 f82 competition package and have never seen the “M” welcome lights that shine on the ground when opening the door and the “m4” badge on the seats don’t illuminate.

Do some models not do this? I don’t see any setting related to these in the iDrive settings.

The welcome lights that shine from the door are ones you can add. Just have to change the bulb and housing for it with a different one. Not certain on the seat badge, I think they all should light up though
