Help needed installing a HJS Downpipe

Hello bimmers

I'm about to buy the HJS DP for my M4 F82 and I need a little advice from someone who has installed it themselves. According to HJS instructions you have to lift the engine 2cm. Is this really necessary or can I get the DP in without having to bend/damage anything? Thank you

FYI, you have two downpipes on your S55 engine. You might try posting in the Coding/DIY section of this forum.

Yes, it is. Please refer to the manual to install it. I didn't get in without lifting the engine.

Well I installed my down pipes (not HJS) on jack stands in my garage and I absolutely did NOT raise my engine, the install isn’t really that hard, just time consuming since it’s a tight space to work in.

I did not need to lift my engine for my resonated downpipes. Googling the hjs they are pretty large because they are catted. There's a good possibility you will have to, to install them.

Honestly from my research the oem cats flow very well. I don't see the point of high flow cats unless you're going over 750whp.
