If you're looking for a great welder in NorCal to titanium weld your MPE exhaust, PM me and I'll give you a guys information. I was recommended to him from another F80 owner and he does great work. V/r

What were your symptoms? Did you have a loud rattle? I notice that my MPE exhaust tips move for about 30 seconds upon cold start and then it goes away.

I purchased it used off a member of this forum that's local to me. Maybe he'll come in and describe the issue he had.

Hey all, glad you got it welded.
I must be going deaf because I honestly couldn’t tell anything was wrong. I was in the position to sell my MPE because #Akra and so I wanted to make sure there were no cracks before selling... unfortunately doing a soap spray test, there she was. I honestly didn’t have any symptoms of rattling or tips vibrating excessively and I’ve had this exhaust for a while, before there was a crack. YMMV. |
