MPE exhaust welding

If you're looking for a great welder in NorCal to titanium weld your MPE exhaust, PM me and I'll give you a guys information. I was recommended to him from another F80 owner and he does great work. V/r

Before and after. He also adds a titanium ring as brackets on the weak link portions of the exhaust (I'll get more pictures)

I purchased it used off a member of this forum that's local to me. Maybe he'll come in and describe the issue he had.

Hey all, glad you got it welded.
I must be going deaf because I honestly couldn’t tell anything was wrong.

I was in the position to sell my MPE because #Akra and so I wanted to make sure there were no cracks before selling... unfortunately doing a soap spray test, there she was.

I honestly didn’t have any symptoms of rattling or tips vibrating excessively and I’ve had this exhaust for a while, before there was a crack.

YMMV.

Just for an additional resource: You can ask Hoover at Dietsch Motorsports in Livermore they quoted about $500 for the work.
