Who is telling you that? That's just wrong unless there is more to the story.

Stock plugs gapped to 0.022 for 93 octane stage 2 BM3.

Stock plugs gapped to 0.018 for full e85 custom tune.

Idles and purrs smoothly like a kitten.

I tried NGK 97506s before and they had that idle hiccup every 10 secs which was driving me crazy. The stock plugs gapped feel and measures identical in performance to the NGK 97506s as evidenced by logs.

Def not 0.030. The stock plugs are 0.032 from factory and would even stutter at high rpms on a BM3 stage 2 93 octane tune but not strong enough to register as a misfire and put up a CEL. Once i gapped them to 0.022, it felt a lot smoother especially in the spool up and high end rpms didnt feel like it was choking out.

Gapped mine at .20 for a stage 1 BM3 93 octane, should I have done .22? Seems to run perfect, once in a while on a cold start (cold start delete) the revs will get a little unstable for about 10 seconds

Please run your NGKs at 0.023" for OTS maps.

You run 0.021" for Paul/Cary E85 tunes, and only go smaller if they tell you to.

Cool. How often are you swapping them with that Stage 2 / 91 map? I've had my stock ones in for ~20k and oddly the car is running like a champ. LOL.
