I'm still on stock downpipes. A lot of people said to stay with stock downpipes because it will ruin the sound. |

A comparison between the 3..... the aa mid cuts down rasp significantly over stock, and when adding either the Remus muffler or the MPE muffler - you add a bit more sound and a nice change in tone. The MPE provides a higher pitch, due to the titanium while the Remus will offer a deeper note and reduces the rasp further. Stock zcp i would rate at a 3 Remus + AA 5.5 MPE + AA 5.5 |

Would a Remus rear + AA Mid + downpipes sound very raspy?
Currently have Remus rear + AA Mid + stock DP and i can vouch that the car is very lovely to drive . Makes me want to drive the car even more.. No annoying drones and sounds very aggressive. When driving the car with cold start, the sounds are even better.. Sadly the sound goes away after car is warmed up... Just mod bug biting again... |

We are doing AA midpipe + REMUS axle back on the shop's M4 ... By far the best sounding setup in my opinion

Found the thread with the Akra slip-on and AA midpipe. Also has sound clips.

I didn't have stock downpipes with the MPE + AA mid pipe for very long. My feedback from the short time I had it is the rasp is greatly reduced and with stock dp there is a good amount of turbo whistle that you can hear when letting off. It's super prominent when in enclosed spaces line parking structures or narrow streets, probably my favorite characteristic of the set up. The main difference between the Remus axle back versus the MPE is that up top, about 4500 and above the note changes to the typically MPE sound, the wail/howl.... Minus the rasp! You're welcome to give me a ring if you would like to discuss more or ask any questions |

Well that settles it 😂😂😂 What would you recommend for the AWE non res ? I just got it installed today and lovin' it but eventually I'll want to expand on my douchebaggery and level up the obnoxious. |

Here's a video of both: Personally I think the AWE Resonated with downpipes is one of the best set ups next to Remus + Active Autowerke Mid Pipe |
