Suspension Overhaul Kit
Asking for a friend. Don’t have an F80 M3 so I wouldn’t know the answer to this. His rear springs are broken and he has to change them. The car has approximately 120k miles on it. What would be your recommendation for what he should do while he’s there. Nothing fancy at all. This is his daily driver. So he’s not looking for an aggressive build. He lives in the Midwest and the roads up there are pretty rough.
Please chime in. He wants to get this done soon. Thanks. |

Retrofit the CS suspension. Easily the best OE suspension and much more comfortable than the regular cars. From a hardware perspective it’s just a mix of comp and non-comp components, but once he’s got that the CS tuning is what transforms it.

And if OP's friend's car got to 120k on all stock components, then I'd also definitely be looking at bushings, top mounts, control arms, rear differential bushing, etc. Once you're in there, do it all and be done for the next 100k.
