Pagid RS29 - why you betray me?
Factory rotors, 30km old, 3rd set of rear pads (car may have been driven as BMW M intended...). Fresh RS29 - after factory, 1st set RS29, and then these. Only this third set has coincided with bad disk grooves! I do pick up a few stones on the road course, but it should be between the shield and disk, not the pad?! Any clues? The fronts are running great - DBA 5000 with Ferodo 3.12, cooling ducts.

Hard to tell from the photos, but I'm seeing cosmetic stuff, nothing that is going to degrade performance.
How are the discs measuring? Is it the same inside / outside? Are right and left the same? |

Almost looks like the pad had uneven pressure from the caliper pistons. I'd start my troubleshooting with the caliper, unless you think the pad may have been installed incorrectly. I take it the other side is fine?
By the way this rotor is not in good shape. |
