Track pad sensor problems…

Hi guys, just replaced my pads with some dedicated track pads for an upcoming event. After changing the pads, decided to disconnect the rear brake wear indicator but when i started it, i got a light on my dash saying to replace rear pads. I then put the sensor back in thinking it would go away but it didn't disappear after about 20 minutes of driving. Just got back home, is this something that will go away after the ecu goes to sleep? Or is there a way to erase it? I tried to plug in my code reader and it did not show any codes…

I think you can use the odometer to reset the brake. With ignition on (engine off) just hold down the odo for several seconds, then cycle to the brake service prompt, press again to reset.

Absolute legend thank you very much. I was trying to do it with engine running earlier and it didn't work. Got it cleared now, thank you boss.

Btw, You'll find lots of members not bothering with the wear senors. I just zip tie my sensors to one of the suspension bits and cover the end electrical tape.
