I am currently running 265/35 and 295/35 on the stock 437M rims without any problems. Is it the offset of the BBS rears that is not conducive to 295/35?

I and several others are running this setup on slight drop and it's fine. No rubbing issues. I'm on Dinan with 1" drop front and .5" rear. Tires are MPSS BMW spec. I originally went with 285/35 rear and had enough room for a 10mm spacer without rubbing although the wheel was a bit more than flush with fender. I have pics posted on my thread in signature.

Overall diameter is much better w 265 35 19 and 285 35 19 for an M3 and has the same 0.6" difference front front to rear.

Find the 295 35 19 too tall and the 295 30 19 too short.

Stock PSS
255 35 19 26.0"
275 35 19 26.6"

Proposed PSS
265 35 19 26.3"
285 35 19 26.9"
295 35 19 27.1"
295 30 19 26.0"
305 30 19 26.3"

I second this. I just went with 265/35/19 - GM star (goes onto the CTV-S front wheel which is a 9.5 wide wheel) and 285/35/19 generic PSS.

So far feels good, and feels more stock like. I went with the 275/295/30 set up, and it wasn't for me, as my car is a daily driver. The wider tires were fun, but the lower profile required me to lower more for minimal wheel gap, which led to a harsher ride.

Great choice on wheels man!! They look great! Even the center caps give a little spark to it since the colors are so close (if not the same!)!!

My apologies for reviving an old thread, but has anyone experienced more tire road noise with the FI-Rs? I've been running camber plates with BC Forged and the stock 666m wheels. But after remounting 275s fronts from my BC Forged set of wheels, I'm noticing significantly more road noise, not necessarily vibration and harshness. The fronts are still in good condition. Just wondering if there's a possibility of the tires getting messed up from dismounting and remounting.

No more road noise w BBS FI-R..... what brand tires are you running?

Is there any vibration in the steering wheel at any speeds?

Michelin PS4S 275/30 up front (with about 5k miles on them from my previous set of wheels). Zero vibration. Someone mentioned with lower profile tires, there's always a chance the tire could get damaged with dismounting and remounting? Is this true?

If I had to describe the noise, it sounds like a hollow rotation noise?

No this should not be the case.

Couple things to check out

is the tire wear even?
is there any evidence of cupping?
tire pressure?

Really really hard to damage a wheel dismounting or mounting. You can tell if you go to another shop and have them rebalanced but you would already know they are damaged or not balanced via vibration which you dont have.
