From what I can tell from the photo CanAut posted, I have a fairly good idea on how to do it.

Guessing it has to do with the Porsche account that you can eventually connect to Porsche Financial Services.

From my experience they are fine. Similar to BMWFS etc IMO of which I never had a problem with either.

M's leading message as it pertains to future electric cars is that its artificial sound is more professionally developed than alternatives. And they believe distinctive artificial sound will recruit customers in this space? "Yeah, I bought the iM3 because of the sound."

FWIW, the sound of the Taycan makes that car stand out over other performance EV's. I think there's something to be said for the audible signature of those types of cars.

are you referring to the authentic sounds or the artificial add on, which I think is an option, no?

Because I'm totally on board with some of the authentic noises coming from electric drivetrains. Whether LMP1 cars in the Le Mans pits, or even the e-tron coasting to a stop is very cool.

I believe it's the add-on or native option. Whatever it is, it works. The car sounds great for an EV.

It’s through the “My Porsche” website. When you order a car, they create an account for you and you get an invitation to join. You can also create an account individually and load your cars with their VIN. Similar to what BMW does.

I posted in the thread about the EV sound on the front page.

Some respondents think it's stupid. I personally am on board with the notion (law in some places) that EV's should be heard by pedestrians. The Tron sound is as good as any, even though it's weird that they went through all that research and paid Hans Zimmer to come up with something that to my ears doesn't really sound unique. But ok cool.
