They had a 20,000 markup when I saw the mineral grey m3 there about 6 months ago. I can only imagine what they are charging for this one. lol |

I don't know if it was the same car as the Miami one, but they had this identical color and build at the SF auto show on display a few weeks ago. It was loaded with swirlsmarks and interior marks from a million people playing with it. Hopefully it's not the same car.

Lol welcome to CDN sticker prices. Most of our M3's/4's average these numbers and triple digits isn't a challenge if you tick off all the boxes. This car at that price would be about $115 CDN after exchange. Ouch.

The car is still there. They've actually got at least three M3/4 with CCBs. I tried to negotiate a deal on one of them a couple months ago, but they wouldn't budge on sticker or buy rate. Looks like their unwillingness to budge on price isn't working. I cannot imagine what their flooring cost must be by now; these cars have been on the lot for many months. There's always some clown that'll buy the car at sticker or even their $10k markup. They tried to tell me no one was getting a better deal than me at sticker, even after I told them several dealers had offered me better terms, which was true at the time. My experience with the salespeople weren't great, but the sales manager was a nice guy and we agreed he should sell the car to someone willing to pay full price. I have a tough time going into this dealership given my interactions with sales and that when my friend ordered a car there the techs drove it for over 100 miles before delivery (yup, true story) and still the service manager was a dick about it. My service money goes elsewhere.

In my situation it would absolutely be retarded to cross shop an M3 with a Cayman GT4 a nearly pure bred track toy and a GTR with it's ludicrous maintenance cost or a Z06....all two seaters. If you want a track machine an M3/M4 isn't the best choice and why the hell would anyone spec out a track car, do you need comfort access or lane departure warning on a track car.....you'd get the base model and prep it your way for track duty. I sure as hell don't think "GT4" when I'm driving across a few states to go visit family on a road trip, but I sure could do that in an M4. I just don't get why on earth people constantly loose all common sense when this same build keeps coming up, "individual paint and CCBs" automatically mark the car up $14k, you are not going to get past that, period. Then you add all the basic everyday normal ad ons for this car and you will hit that mark easily. It is the price of wanting to have an "individual/unique" color. We could argue about BMW pricing on this paint, yes, sure but then get a Honda Accord if that's your price. My YMB stickered at $81k and had everything I wanted except aftermarket wheels, the yellow reflectors body color and an exhaust. Everything in the inside is CF, the grill and emblems are black....these are all things I see at least a dozen threads on here where someone is buying these after the fact and adding it on. That has a price and possibly installation. So add on the aftermarket price of those items and installation or your personal time installing and then......but these cars come like that, no searching for parts, installation, etc... Someone buying a car like this has all that done factory.....now if the issue is an official dealer markup beyond the factory built car, then ok. But stop bitching about the price of a car that is individually built. Last edited by Blksnowflake; 03-16-2015 at 04:48 PM.. |
