2018 M3 competition package - burble and touch screen!!

I took delivery of a 2018 MG/SO competition package today. I had traded my 15 m3 in and the changes are subtle between the two but also very noticeable.

Comp pack: even in break-in mode, the car drives much more responsive, the suspension is definitely improved as the ride is noticeably more reactive and soft damper in comfort for street driving. The car feels lighter than the 15....

The exhaust note is a major improvement with a more refined deeper authentic note and my favorite aspect is the GTS burble!!

Yes, mostly due to the LCI ii facelift.

I guess u feel exhaust noise difference because u come from a 15, exhaust noise is better in a 16 and hence difference may be minimal

My buddy has a 16 and it's not close to this noise. Did the earlier zcp's have burble from the factory? I'd read there were more upgrades to the 18'

Ok, I didn't know that but still all is good. My ex 15 didn't have that option

I do love the apple CarPlay and iDrive 6.0 with touchscreen as a true upgrade though

I went from a 16 exec pkg with adaptive and 19's, to a 18 exec comp on 20's, what an incredible difference. Car feels so much better.

The 2018 ZCP update is more than meets the eye for certain

I had the opportunity to drive an 18 ZCP as a loaner and it's feels more responsive. That buuurble though...amazing.

Congrats! All ZCP 16-18 sounds the same. Those with 17’s can upgrade the 5.0 Idrive to 6.0 (I did it on my 17)

I am honestly surprised in the difference in rose quality, agility, and the power curve is in the perfect place. Also love this one not being jerky between 1st and 2nd...the throttle/peddle reaction and feel ????
