Black wheels easily marked?
Hi Guys
Ive had my new M4 for 2 weeks now, only done 400 miles and ive noticed that both back wheels already have bad scratches on them? They've only been cleaned once by a pro detailer when he did a new car Gtechniq protection on it so i know it hasnt been done by poor cleaning etc The detailer said the paint seemed soft on the wheels and thinks i might always have this problem from stones kicking up off the ground? Just wondered if anyone else with the optional black wheels had suffered with the same thing? Or should i be talking to my supplying dealer?

Yep, i've noticed they do get easily marked up. I don't think it's something you can get your dealership to replace. I think you'll have the same issue no matter how many sets of black wheels you go through.
I try to keep them clean and waxed as often as possible.

I agree. If there is an adequate amount of dust on them and you wipe it down it'll leave streak marks that pretty much mark up the clear coat. Just got to be careful and wipe down only when the wheel is wet or has quick detailer spray on them.
