Bridgestone RE11 discontinued??

I called to get these tires today and was very excited and all of a sudden nobody can get them!! They are discontinued now and there is an RE11 2??

So now we can't get MPSS or Bridgestone RE11??? What's left.

Tirerack still has them... I couldn't get them locally either.

I really LOVE mine... better than the PSS but almost as quiet and comfortable. I half considered getting two sets so I have a spare for when the first batch wear out

If you don't want to go with an RE-11 because they have been discontinued, try the Yokohama AD-08R (similar to the RE-11). The RE-11 are now the RE-71R but sizes are limited at the moment. If neither work for you, it might be a waiting game for the PSS.

I really want them! Checking tire rack now. I see the Yokohama is ranked 3/29 but it says "in their category" and Michelin is 1/29 but not in the same ranking. Where can I see the actual ranking etc on tire rack?

The PSS and the AD-08 aren't ranked against each other as they are in different performance categories. The AD-08R is 3rd behind the RE-11 and RE-11A (also discontinued)

I prefer the AD08R but the RS3 was really good to me but could tell a performance drop towards the second half of tread.

Just purchased the RE11. I hope if it allowed me to buy it that means they have it in stock? I'm praying tomorrow I get a shipping confirmation. I've been wanting these for months.

Looks like Tirerack still has some in stock. You should be fine if you already paid for them. Those are absolutely great tires

The RE-71r's come in stock sizes. They are supposed to be even better than the RE-11's

Yes and louder and ride more harshly too. TireRack warned me when I was looking at these that tread noise is lot higher. For a DD tire, the compromise was too much. TireRack said the AD-08R was a quieter tire and we all know it ain't quiet

Having said that, once people start buying them and we can get real life reports, they may turn out to be OK.
