18" v 19" v 20" Wheel/Tire setups
Am considering upgrading my current setup on my F80 M3 and looking for opinions and experiences of those on the forum. My car is a 2015 M3 with 18" OEM wheels and without the M adaptive suspension. Ride is firm but not too much so but I do agree its not a Lexus by any means and does ride a bit harder/harsher than my former F10 550i or 650i GC prior. Understand that the M3 is not a cushy ride but this car is my DD and I worry about going too big to 20" and ruining the ride quality. Have heard mixed results in my limited search/discussion so interested in comments from those who have the either setups on their ride and experiences.
Do like the Vorsteiner VFF-102's but they only come in 20" fitment for the M3. Also looking at HRE FF15's and FF01 which I can get in 19" or 20" fitments. Also there are others I think out there but ride quality and tires avail will be a factor. All thoughts welcome!

I have 20" and the ride is fine but my previous car was very harsh. Really you should try to find someone in your local area and get them to take you for a ride
Everyone's perception of harshness will be different |

On the F8X platform, our 20" customers find the ride "stiffer" but not unbearable by any means. This is all, however, very much subjective.

Thanks for the input gents. Keep it coming. Have any of you guys found that the weight of the wheels plays a role in the ride comfort/harness?
