Well I probably should have started on an empty tank but I let my car sit on a flat surface for a bit and it turned out the car was about 34% full. I put this in my calculator and filled up the E85 last. The amount of E85 the calculator told me to put in is exactly how much the car took until the pump stopped on it’s own.

I think it called for like 4.2 gallons of E85.

I’ve read this map is actually good up to almost e50 and can run a little bit better with more E85, any truth to that?

It's an E30 Map, I don't see the need of adding E50 to it start low at E30 and work your way up E35, E40.
Test with Dragy your times + LOG LOG LOG LOG and Dynojet if you want to see the gains.

Anyone experienced gunshot burbles disappearing away after sometime? - it works well and crazy everytime its newly flashed, but after sometime it just seems to go away across the rpm range, or occasional single pops. Or only work below 2k rpm. Anybody has any experience that may help? Im running custom map.

Hey,

It was because I was in "Efficient" mode and I just had not noticed.

As soon as I changed back to "Sport" and/or "Sport +", they returned.

Cheers!

I have no clue as it's the first I've heard of it; it seems to be a calibration code associated with the software code. Just trying to figure out a solution, or if it's isolated to one tuner etc.

Hopefully I did not miss this after looking through the BM3 FAQ and release notes...

Do you plan to add throttle map adjustability? I have a software tool for my E46 M3 where I can change the throttle map, essentially adjusting the sensitivity of the throttle to my liking. For my E46, it was really helpful to make the sport mode in the car less "twitchy", especially for track driving, helping the power delivery to be more smooth.

After I purchase the tune, is the program immediately activated? Or do I have to wait a while for it to activate? I'd like to be able to get it activated same day, as I'm leaving for vacation soon.

Thanks!

I'm getting and error when I try to hook up the OBD program. It's not recognizing the car. Is disconnecting the batter the usual fix? I just removed my JB4, could that be it? Thanks

Very normal in 1st gear, especially if you're in the most aggressive shift setting.

Which OTS tunes allow for exhaust flap editing?

I purchased the bootmod3 for three reasons. Cold start delete, slight tune for power, and to control the exhaust flap settings. Cold start delete was easy. OTS GTS map is plenty of added power. I can only change the MAPS for the muffler in the stock tune. The free OTS maps must be locked.

Which tuner must I pay extra to get the a tune that allows for me to adjust the exhaust? I wanted to move the muffler Sport+ exhaust map over to the other settings, Adjust the start up roar sound length, and control the muffler flap open percentages for when the car goes CAT delete.

This is the Off The Shelf (OTS) GTS tune that does not have the Map Editor option. The other free MAPS with the BMW purchase also don't allow Map Edit

OEM Stock Tune that has MAP Edit.
